Saturday Snuggles and Paints

Anchorage Bluff with 8-Month Old

I packed away the last of the clothes with the little “t” on the tag. Put them on the porch with your booster seat and the toys you learned to crawl after. Waiting for new families to pick them up and give them new life. I didn’t kn

Anyone else feeling kind of excited about the possibility of Mt. Spurr erupting?! I remember when it erupted in 1992– and it was kind of thrilling! I know the clean-up afterwards will be a hassle, but I’m kind of here for any natural disa

I know photo sessions aren't always in the budget so I hold a R*A*F*F*L*E every spring for a session. This year, I've made two changes:

1. For the first time ever, there's now a ticket bundle option instead of procuring single ticket

I live for chaotic toddler moments. I always tell parents that they run the show during our session, and I will figure out how to change my prompts to match their interests. Plus, some of my favorite moments are when they are left to their own device

The fact that I haven’t shared this session yet is mind-boggling to me because it wa

Did you know Tamagotchis are back? I didn't either-- but unfortunately my kids got their hands on some and now I'm taking care of two whiny, beeping little electronic blobs while they're playing outside. I didn't have a Tamagotchi when I was a kid, s

It’s so hard right now to not feel like the world is just absolute darkness. It seems like so many people are suffering and I’m really struggling to find the light anymore.

And then I take a photo like this and I remembe
